Perry, having experienced the profound healing that comes from sharing one’s own story, was inspired to establish “Powerful Books.” After writing and publishing “Breaking The Silence, he recognized the therapeutic value of vocalizing personal journeys. He sought to create a platform where survivors could come forward, share their narratives, and in doing so, find their own path to healing. Perry believes that by providing survivors with the tools and support to chronicle their experiences, he’s not only helping them reclaim their voice but also empowering them to inspire others to do the same. It’s more than just writing; it’s a transformative journey towards breakthrough and renewal.
Debbra’s journey with the Powerful Book Club was transformative, revealing the depth of her strength and resilience.
“The Powerful Book Club is more than just about writing a book. I joined the group initially to have a safe space to express myself freely and discuss the sexual abuse I survived and the impact it had on my entire life. I always felt I would one day speak out about it but didn’t have a definite plan of action. Perry offered the opportunity to write a book, with guidance and support and I knew the time had come. The opportunity to write a book got me excited. I have been going through the process and at all times I feel empowered by the support. I know without a doubt that writing my book is freeing me from the wounds that held me back and also opening the door to allow others to walk out of their darkness and shine as well. My most heartfelt gratitude goes out to Perry for being courageous enough to tell his story and invite others to do the same.”
Debbra’s words illuminate the significant impact of expressing one’s story and the collective healing it promotes.

Emma Mack, like many, harbored the dream of penning down her journey. The intertwining of guidance and community is what transformed her dream into reality. Here’s what she has to share:
“Perry, I’ve always wanted to write my book. Rab has been on at me for years to do it. But with your support, and the incredible group of people in your community, I found the strength to not only write it, but actually publish it. I wouldn’t have had the strength to do it if it hadn’t been for this group and you. So thank you. From the bottom of my heart, for giving me the push I needed, and for including me in the group. I’ve found forever friends in you and this group. ❤️”
Every survivor’s story holds immense power and potential. Emma’s journey from contemplation to actual publication showcases the transformative effect of a supportive community and the right guidance. Perry and the community are honored to have played a part in her empowering journey.
For Bonnie Couch, embarking on the journey of writing her story wasn’t just about publishing a book. It was a profound experience, offering layers of healing. Here’s how Bonnie articulates her transformative experience:
“Anyone interested should take advantage of this offer. His step-by-step program is phenomenal. I went through it to write my book and it was amazing how it all came together. I’ve grown to love this young man. He has such a passion for helping children and adult survivors of csa. Writing my story brought more healing to my life than anything I’ve tried including individual counseling.”
Perry’s dedication to aiding survivors goes beyond just creating a platform; it’s about reigniting hope and fostering deep-seated healing, something Bonnie so beautifully highlights.
Aly’s decision to pen her narrative was more than just an act of writing; it became a voyage of personal liberation and healing. Here’s what Aly has to say about her transformative experience:
“I love this program! I joined the Book Launch Academy program because I was ready to tell my story and let go of the shame that had been holding me back for so long. I was ready to dive more deeply into my past and to free myself in a way I hadn’t before. It was a journey I discovered I was on for me, to heal. And now I am sharing the book that came out of it because I want others to know they don’t have to live in the shackles of shame because of childhood sexual abuse.”
Through the Book Launch Academy program, Aly unearthed the strength to confront her past, and more importantly, to liberate herself from the lingering shadows of shame. Her story serves as a heartfelt reminder that no one needs to remain chained by past traumas, a message she’s now passionately sharing with the world.
